Brompton Dress

A cute dress or tunic length pullover with a slight bell sleeve.  Contrast color bands on the bodice and upper arms are repeated from the underarm to the hem.  Choose a size to provide 2-3" negative ease at the chest in order to get the very close fit.
6 sizes from a finished 31.5" through 42.75".  Uses smooth worsted weight yarn in two colors.
Gauge is 20st & 27r = 4 inches in stockinette on size 7 (5mm) needles.

The original sample was knit in worsted weight merino wool.  We suggest these yarns:  Rowan Lima, Merino 8, Berroco Ultra Alpaca, Lang's Linda, and for a little glitz, Lanalux.
