Improv
New ruffling pillow yarn from Trendsetter

Improv is a very special yarn. It is a ribbon yarn that is constructed as a double wide tape, and is made up of woven boxes and open space boxes that are opposite each other in checkerboard construction.

There are several ways to knit Improv. You can use it as a ruffle yarn similar to ChaCha and Flamenco, folded and knit double for embellishment, or pillow knit in garter or reverse stockinette stitch for alternating bands of color that make up a soft, pillowy fabric with ruffles on one or both sides.
