| Andalusia Afghan Kit

Berroco has published this free pattern on their website--it has a lot of potential, don't you think? Each square starts at the center of the flower, then adds on the dc rows on 2 sides to make the larger square. Think what you could do with this using a quality wool or variegated yarn!!! It would be a lot like quilting--it reminds me of log cabin blocks. Make the squares then put them together for the most pleasing and dramatic effect. You could even make the flower one color, and the field another color or even striped. There are 24 squares in the afghan--use 2, or 3, or 4 or 6 or 8 or even 12 colors, and you'll have a fabulous one of a kind afghan!
