Schulana is a very well established yarn company from Switzerland, with a definite European look. You'll find bulky ski sweaters, fashion forward jackets, sophisticated office wear, evening glamour and comfy casuals here, plus a lot of inspiration!
Since we do not want anyone to be disappointed, we have to explain about sizes. We have run into this issue with other European pattern books, and the fact is that the sizing runs small. Plus, a number of the patterns are only provided in the smaller sizes.
Here are the guidelines for finished garments:
Small, 36" Medium 38-40" Large 42-44" XL 46-48"
This includes all wearing ease. Depending on the garment and how tight you like to wear your clothes, this could be a lot smaller than you expect.
By all means please ask questions--we are here to help. If you love one of the designs, please check with us first, if necessary, on the sizing in the book. We will help you resize any of these designs if at all possible.
