Cherry Tree Hill Sockitome! Sock Yarn with Nylon
This yarn is a new kind of Supersock, one with nylon! It is composed of 80% superwash merino/ 20% nylon and offers the softness of supersock without the need for a high twist as the nylon provides longevity. Although it is designed for socks, the yarn is so soft that many knitters prefer it for baby blankets, and hat and scarf sets. 100 g skeins The yardage can't be beat, there is plenty for a pair of socks.
Gauge: 7 sts to the inch, recommended US size 2 needle for socks. If you are making something other than socks, you will probably want to use a size 3 or maybe larger. Although this yarn is machine washable not every washing machine is the same, so for best results handwash.
