Description   Dyed Lace Weight Suri Alpaca 100% Suri Alpaca Lace Yarn Here you'll find CTH's NEW Semi-solid colors of this soft and warm lace weight yarn.  These are just absolutely beautiful This yarn is great for lace shawls, scarves, and other fine lacy items.  This yarn is natural, so it dyes well.  Suri Alpaca fiber has very little crimp to it, so it is not very elastic, but of course it is warm, as alpaca tends to be. The yarn has a very slight halo, just enough to give a soft look to your fabric, but not enough to be scratchy or tickle.  Quite soft. 50g = 466 yards, so 2 skeins is enough for most full size shawls.
