Description   Twilley's Freedom Denim Cotton   Indigo dyed cotton that fades with washing and wearing (just like your favorite pair of denim jeans!) Ecru color does not fade noticeably. Garment will shrink on its first washing and the supporting patterns are written to account for this initial shrinking.  DK weight (Double knitting) cotton in 50g balls. The supporting pattern books have all the sophistication and panache that you would expect from an English yarn company!   Features 50g ball has 102yds/93m, light worsted/DK weight 21 st & 32 rows = 4" (10cm) with US 6 (3.75mm) needles AFTER WASHING Initial wash:  Machine wash hot, full spin, tumble dry on cotton setting.  Subsequent washings:  Machine wash warm on gentle cycle, no bleach. Dry flat. Warm iron. Be sure to launder your gauge swatch as you will your garment.  This yarn will definitely shrink, primarily lengthwise. Blue will bleed significantly on first washing, and the dye may transfer to your hands while knitting.
