Description   Men These little booklets from Paton's are packed with information and great basic patterns. The instructions are written very clearly, with a lot of features that we all wish were in every pattern! Sizes are color-coded, every pattern has a difficulty rating, and there's a separate stitch glossary for each pattern. Schematics are included, and the type used isn't tiny. One can learn a lot just by taking note of the extra information that's included as well, like separate tables of measurements for "size" and "finished." What a value! This booklet includes 8 patterns for men: 6 very useful sweaters, a scarf, and a dickey. (For those of you under 45, go look it up.) They are, unlike some patterns for men, suitably masculine and a great starting point for your own variations. Sweaters are in 5 sizes from small (34-36") to 2X (50-52"), using worsted and chunky weight yarn.
