This beautiful coat-length cardigan is from Helen's 2012 Calendar of Patterns. With a gentle A-line shape, this coat floats along and complements most outfits. The body of the coat is knit in one piece, using moss stitch and a ribbed edging. This is a really easy knit, with a spectacular result!

Yarn Helen Hamann LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca, #2 Sports weight, 50 g skein, 184 yards (168 m). Three sizes to fit bust measurement of 32", 40" and 48" with 2 strands held together throughout. Gauge 24 sts and 33 rows = 4” in pattern stitch. Needle size US 5 (3.75 mm) and 6, or size to get gauge. Crochet hook size D3. One strand of DK weight yarn can be substituted.
