Cocoon Lace Scarf or Wrap
Puffy cocoons are outlined by waving knit stitches.  On the reverse, purl stitches outline the cocoons for a different but equally attractive look for a reversible fabric.  Ends may be finished with the simple scalloped lace edging or choose the plain garter stitch borders.
Scarf version takes 400-450 yards of extra fine yarn, picture is shown in mohair/silk blend. Ovation would do nicely!  Wrap takes twice the amount.  Picture is shown in a heavier weight.  We would recommend Kidlin laceweight.
