Fun and easy cover-up for pool or beach, originally made from Sirocco Cotton/Linen Blend yarn (pictured). Very loose fitting. Four sizes, S (M, L, XL) will fit bust sizes 30-34 (36-40, 42-46, 48-52) and takes about 450 (500, 600, 700) yards of DK weight yarn where 50g is about 100 yards.
Sirocco is discontinued now, but you can use any DK weight vegetable fiber yarn. A smooth yarn will have a different look than a textured nubbly yarn, and a variegated yarn is also pretty in this pattern.
Pattern is composed of stripes of stockinette, reverse stockinette, and drop stitch.
