"In the Garden" Capelet
by Ilga Leja
 
Create a touch of elegance with this lacy, feminine capelet

2 sizes, S/M and L/XL  and 2 lengths to choose from., shoulder capelet & Full Length

This pattern uses fingering or sport weight yarn, with a gauge of 16 st & 26 rows in the pattern stitch over 4".  The designer used wool, but you could use almost any fingering yarn or sock yarn. This capelet  would be great in Gems Fingering, any sock yarn,  including Cherry Tree Hill, 2 ply cashmere, or really spectacular in Neighborhood Yarn Co. silk & cashmere 2ply.

Full length capelet takes 600 (750) yards, and shoulder capelet takes 310 (495) yards.
