Lopi Volume 31
This newest book is very modern and up to date, including a nod to the current young fashion of having a single motif, like an initial, centered on a plain background. But there's lots more too. There are patterns for Lett-Lopi, Regular Lopi, Bulky Lopi, and Einband, the new lace weight Lopi that's on the way, as well as plotulopi.
A number of the patterns use a combination of the yarns, stranded together; for example, one strand each of Lett Lopi and Einband held together while knitting. This allows you to achieve two things: subtle color variations and also gauge that is intermediate between the gauge you can get using each yarn separately.
As you have come to expect, there are patterns not only for women but also men, children, and home decor. This is a book that crosses every style, and it contains a lot of patterns that are easily adaptable to your preferences. For example, if you're not keen on the initials or symbols on the sweater, it's still a great basic pattern that can be knitted in one color. All the shaping and sizing is there, and you can use it over and over.
A few of the designs in the book are charted in Plotulopi, the unspun Icelandic wool.
