Another surprising find from the warehouse: full one-half pound skeins of undyed 100% mohair single-ply yarn. This mohair is unbrushed, meaning there is no fuzz or tickle, but there is a ton of softness and classic good looks! The undyed creamy winter white color is a favorite, or this yarn can be successfully dyed. Exceptionally soft with a little bloom when knit as is, or you can knit it to an even bulkier gauge and gently brush it for a gorgeous halo.

Similar yarn is currently available at $40 per 100g skeins (Wagtail Mohair makes one). This half pound skein is equivalent to 2¼ of those skeins. There are 185 yards in this giant skein, which will knit to chunky or bulky weight.
