Lovikka Mittens
A 19th Century Swedish Tradition
These Lovikka Mittens are cushiony, being made of 2 strands of yarn and then fulled (Slightly Felted).  After fulling, the mittens are brushed for warmth.  Optional embroidery or braid on the cuff for a traditional look.  Featured Techniques:  Double Cast-On, Straight Thumb Construction, Swirled Round Mitten Top, Fulling, Embellished Cuffs.  Five sizes!
