Lusso

Lusso is a super-light lace-weight yarn consisting of fine merino, silk, baby camel hair and super kid mohair. The baby camel hair component gives the yarn a wonderful softness and lovely volume. For hand-knitting yarns the down, the so-called undercoat, is used. In spring, this hair falls out in clumps, when the animals shed their coat. The downy hair is fine and crimped, distinctive for its softness, sheen and thermal qualities. You will be entranced by this especially fine quality.
- 25g ball - about 195 yards (180m)
- 36% fine merino wool, 27% silk, 19% baby camel, 18% super-fine kid mohair
- 22 st and 36 rows = 4" (10cm) on US 4-5 needles (3mm-3.5mm)
- Hand or machine wash warm, lay flat to dry, or dry clean
