Madison Cardigan

What an elegant jacket! This pretty knit is suitable for wear just about anywhere, any time.  The stylish loop button closure is just perfect against the alternating rib bodice.  Allow 2" ease for a standard fit.
7 sizes from a finished 35" through 47.75".  Uses worsted weight yarn.
Gauge is 18st & 22r = 4 inches in stockinette on size 8 (5mm) needles.

The original sample was knit in a worsted alpaca.  We suggest these yarns:  Lima,  Merlin Worsted, Ultra Alpaca, Llama Lluxury, and of course 8 ply cashmere or camel.
