Misty Vales Stole
The Light and airy, the Misty Vales Stole features filmy Shetland lace patterns in an undulating design, evocative of the hills and dales on a misty Scottish day.
The stole is begun with a provisional cast on at one end, then worked to the other end.  Stitches are micked up around the outside edge and a wide lace border is worked sideways to the stole, casting off as the edging is worked.  Recommended for Experienced lace knitters.
 Approximately 29" wide and 72" long.  Use laceweight yarn.  Takes about 1050 yards.
