An easy worsted weight Gansey

This attractive, easy gansey style pullover has an all-over pattern and a shaped neckline.   It is worked in heavy worsted or aran weight yarn for a quick knit.  Featured techniques in this pattern are  Double Cast-on, Underarm Gussets, Raised Increases, and Doubled Crew Neck.  Six sizes with finished chest measurements of 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, and 54".  Also includes instructions for altering the armholes and sleeves to fit men.

Beth Brown-Reinsel is an expert on Scandanavian and other traditional knitting techniques.  All of her patterns include not only clear instructions but also charts, schematics, glossary and bibliography.  Every pattern also contains mini technique lessons.
