Painter's Palette

Brighten any room with bold blocks of color.  The simple square in a square design is a great project for a colorwork novice
Finished size 46 x 50".  Uses heavy worsted (aran) yarn. 
Gauge is 15st & 21r = 4 inches in stockinette on size 9 (5.5mm) needles.
If you don't like the bright blocks, this is easily altered to pastels (how great for a girl's room!), or it would make a great throw in more subtle shades too.

Designed to use 9 colors, we suggest you try Riverstone if you want all one wool, but this is the sort of thing that's very adaptable.  You can use part of your stash, mix textures, anything goes!
