Schulana die Trendige Masche #24
by Schulana Yarns
Schulana is a very well established yarn company from Switzerland, with a definite European look.   This is the summer magazine, with lots of light weight sweaters, dresses, and jackets, shrugs and tops.  This is full of great patterns that would be year-round wear in the southern states and California.

Schulana’s Spring 2009 pattern book showcases fashions in both the newest spring yarns and also some tried and true favorites. Elegant lace, deep cowls, sleeveless pullovers, and ruffled cardigans abound in this issue. The new Schulana yarns that are represented are Damasco and Sebovia, but many others are familiar and fantastic, like Supercotton, Kid Seta, Merino-Cotton, Fashion-Silk, Mosco, Cashmere-Fino, Astra-Silk, Sojabama, Cotton-Silk, and Can-Can.

Since we do not want anyone to be disappointed, we have to explain about sizes.  We have run into this issue with other European pattern books, and the fact is that the sizing runs small.  Plus, a number of the patterns are only provided in the smaller sizes.
Here are the guidelines for finished garments:
Small, 36"   Medium 38-40"  Large 42-44"  XL 46-48"
This includes all wearing ease. Depending on the garment and how tight you like to wear your clothes, this could be a lot smaller than you expect.

By all means please ask questions--we are here to help.  If you love one of the designs, please check with us first, if necessary, on the sizing in the book.  We will help you resize any of these designs if at all possible.
