Triple Mohair Triangle
This fluffy shawl, cosy yet light as air, is perfect for wrapping around yourself on nippy autumn days. It's an easy, fast knit so you won't have to wait long to wear it.
This is a garter stitch shawl. Three strands of yarn are worked together. The pattern features instructions with large, easy to use charts. Recommended for Beginners. Finished size is 84" along the top edge, and 33" from top to bottom point excluding fringe. Gauge is 24st & 42 rows = 8 inches in garter stitch, after blocking. Use any size needle to obtain this gauge (US 8-10.5 recommended)
The yarn called for is Filatura Di Crosa Baby Kid Extra, 3 balls of each of 3 colors. This yarn is very fine, 270 yards in 25g. Because there are 3 strands held together, the total composite length required is about 820 yards.
If you want to go with the 3 color mix, Ovation is a good substitute. Alternatively, you could use fewer strands of Kidlin or Berroco Memoirs to get the same gauge.
