I ordered the yarn Wild Wool by Erika Knight and I am so pleased with this purchase. It is soft and the stitch definition knitting cables in beautiful. The order from Knitting.com was very fast and they even add a little treat🙂
The yarn is very soft and colors simply amazing.. It is not the easiest to knit as it splinters and becomes fuzzy once unraveled, but I loved how knitted fabric looks and feels. Special thanks to the store for super fast shipping and delivery and a gift I received along with the yarn!
Love this color! Feels soft and squishy, yet stable. Unbelievable to think this is a yarn combining nettle and wool. The only nettle I'm familiar with was the stinging variety I occasionally bumped into as a child. (Ouch!) So it's good to know there's a softer side to nettles (fiberous inside) that can be spun into yarn. Can't wait to combine it with a skein of contrasting Traipse for a lovely, warm cowl.
This wool and nettle yarn is a pleasure to work with. I received a hank in a bimonthly subscription and quickly crocheted a standup neck cowl. The fiber allows for stitches to stand out and maintain their shape even after a good soak and block. I was so impressed with this yarn that I ordered a hank in every color and will start making Christmas gifts for 2021. Thank you!
When my local LYS ran out of the yarn I needed to finish a project, Handknitting.com had it shipped to me in less than 2 weeks in the midst of snowstorms across the nation. Thanks for your quick and professional service v
It looks and feels gorgeous. Not sure what I am going to turn it into yet. I was intrigued by the nettle content and just had to have some!
This yarn is simply amazing and Handknitting delivered it quickly and efficiently; a most pleasant shopping g experience. Thank you!
