A great scarf to wear for every occasion. The scarf is made of one asymmetrical piece which has holes knitted into it. Through these holes, 2 different colored stripes are woven into to create the unique effect of a woven piece. Simply fantastic!
The color swatches show the background color. The photo is shown in pumpkin color but is sold out. Helen chose the other combinations for us: The blue background has yellow and bright pink contrast, and the black background is paired with gold and chili pepper red.
Yarn Helen Hamann LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca working 2 strands of yarn held together throughout -- 6 balls of main color, 1 ball each of two complimenting colors -- 1,472 yards (1,344 meters).
Gauge 22 sts and 32 rows = 4" in St st. Needle size US 6 (4 mm).
